Volunteer of 6 charity building blitz projects in South Africa, Valerie Finnegan Cahill deserves the plaudits. She & her sister Niamh Finnegan Terry are volunteering this year at our Mellon Educate blitz site in the the township of Masiphumelele. Over 200 volunteers fly out this weekend to “lend a hand” building 12-16 new classrooms for the local primary school, Ukhanyo. (more…)
