Pre Departure Information
A Mellon Educate ‘Building Blitz’ will change your life. More importantly, it will change the lives of thousands of impoverished children who desperately need your help. It is a one-week opportunity of a lifetime to meet people just like you – people from all walks of life who want to make a difference. Here are a few things you need to know before travelling to South Africa.
Don’t Forget
*Buy your safety boots and wear them before the blitz
*Your reusable water bottle
*10 Antigen Tests as they are not readily available in Cape Town
*Wrap around sunglasses are essential
*Strongly advise wearing long trousers
*Bring your own work gloves (and a pair for a friend!)
