We are 5 weeks into building site preparation work for the Nelson Mandela Tribute building blitz this November 15-22. We’d like to share with you our two specially selected projects at Ngcendese & Zwelinzima schools in Mandela’s homeland of the Eastern Cape.

Our site manager just sent through this progress update, as well as the planning documents below. It’s all go!

**Status**

All bulk excavations complete, road construction in, foundations in, floors poured, blockwork at wallplate and roof structure commencing. Serious pressure on the ground, working 12 hr days, seven days a week to catch up on days lost to heavy rains, but we’ll be ready for the blitz volunteers!
